The Olga Seventies Satchel by Marc Jacobs

I love all things Seventies; the feather hairdos, the flashy clothes, the platform shoes and most of all, the boho chic bags! Marc Jacob’s Olga Seventies Satchel will now be added to that list, it is a snob worthy bag no matter what angle you look at it (the only detail I could do without is the logo plaque). I love the small chain straps which look like an extension of the contrasting piping, which is fabulous in itself. It comes in two colors, ivory and indigo, I prefer the lighter ivory as it will look amazing with camel shades in the Fall. Again, I am continually amazed at the difference in the Marc Jacob line of bags and the line he does for Louis Vuitton. There is a definite disconnect there which confirms my theory that he allows his 20 bag design assistants to use Louis Vuitton as practice for craft projects at the village crafts fair.10luoyuejun0906 Valentino Blossom Rose Bag One of the huge trends for this spring is adding the feminine touch to both accessories and clothing. To accomplish a feminine touch perfectly is brilliant. Soft hues, light fabrics, floral prints, were spotted walking the runway giving us all that perfect sense of beauty. Valentino already attempted to convey a feminine touch paired with the floral theme in the Valentino Rossette Tote which turned out to be a complete disaster. I wish Valentino would have stuck to a more simple design that really portrays the feminine side while appearing whimsical and elegant. The Valentino Blossom Rose Bag is the perfect example of subtle touches of a floral design on a light leather looking classic and sophisticated. My only real qualm with this handbag is the gold snake skin trim on the handles. It looks a little cheap and really kills this bag being a 100% divine hit for me. I would have preferred tonal leather handles. The eye catcher, the front pleated into a rosette, really is alluring. While this bag is available in black, it does not showcase the rosette as well, so I would definitely opt for pink. Buy both the black and pink version at Saks for $1895.

Wild Safari with Dior Medium Shopper

If you want to experience a wild safari, you can choose this Medium Shopper from Dior. Pricing actually comes a lot more expensive than those we’ve featured in rather plain design. It retails for $2,400, so perhaps you wouldn’t just want to have this as a seasonal piece but rather as a purse that you can use all through the years so as to make it a worthy investment. Well actually, this bag could also do such only that it holds a design that fits well for the season. Anyway, the beige calf leather of this bag very well complements with the haircalf panther print on the inside. This obviously gives it its safari feel, although you know that the beige leather is a neutral shade that could work for every season as well. This bag also has some silver tone hardware to complete, which you could see on the hanging logo charm and on the chain detail and rings on the shoulder strap. This also has a ruffled detailing on top, which also has to do with the drawstring closure. Now to complete a safari theme on your facade, try wearing more neutrals or perhaps a brown button down collared dress with matching heels.10luoyuejun0904 Purse Blog in Numbers The Purse Blog in Numbers. 35 months of blogging. 12 writers contributed 2144 posts containing 513,702 words.
